While full status gas bursts are great for spore spreading, I find just having a high burst primary works too well for taking down REALLY hard targets. For my melee I tend to use Orthos Prime for maximum sweep and clear, Mire for lower level stuff (specced for full Toxin damage and the Syndicate mod for energy regen) or Broken War with corrosive for shredding though the Void at high speed. I have recently for the Staticor Triple Combo to be a suitable alternative to higher end play as when all the damage tends to fall off, the CC from this setup and ALL the procs of statuses more than helps. Now I realize that with smarter gameplay this is avoidable, but with how I tend to play (IE get up in the mix, do damage, and dip out) this got me killed a LOT. I used it for almost everything for a long while, but found the whole blowing-myself-up-while-spreading-spores to be bit of an annoyance. The Hikou Prime/Concealed Explosives with gas damage is just amazing for mid level content. So, been playing Saryn almost exclusively since I started Warframe a few months ago, and was constantly looking for good weapons for her.

Luckily the update is in cert, so won't have to wait much longer. Unfortunately as a console player I'm still waiting. I kind of want Lesion and mod it for high slash and corrosive to deal with some of the heavier units. Plus the syndicate mod with splashes everything with viral If they don't die by the proc they'll die by the miasma I release soon after. Thanks for the input! So far I have my Torid for locking down choke points and just finished my embolist (with ruinous extension) which I found to be amazingly effective in conjunction with her spores. We’ve found the best success with Survival missions to be when running Khora, Wisp, or Saryn as they can all benefit a stationary playstyle greatly. regular missions are fine) so a tysis is a fine choice for that purpose. Viral and toxin procs wont mean a damn thing at higher levels (like sortie, or hour long survival stuff. Armor is the bane of toxin procs so, corrosive is, as always super important. More often then not if it does work, it kills everything immediately and stops spreading b4 new enemies spawn in within range.īeyond that, just rock w/e u want/ would normally bring. Kinda clumsy, you gada start on a non-armored target with high health, the weapon has to proc gas an not anything else, sometimes it doesnt spread right cuz idk. Theres some other good tech involving high dmg toxin proccing, with like a Gas lanka. Itl give you consistent spread, and repop them constantly for a great AoE, as of right now its the main thing people seem to find works. The fire-rate on it will garuntee the fastest (to my knowledge) popping and re-stacking of spores everywhere in a range-spore type build.
